This day will be the start of our first Women's Wellness Series. Join us for a morning of empowerment and support as we go deep, touching on the practice of Self Love.
9:30 a.m - 11:00 a.m : Melissa Simonson will begin with a small meditation and then will talk about the much needed choice of Choosing Yourself First.
11:00-11:15 : break
11:15 - 12:30 : Heather Last will then guide you through gentle movement practice of yoga, conscious journaling and reflection.

Please dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat, journal, pen, bolster or blanket are optional. We will provide tea and other beverages. This morning is for anyone looking to deepen their relationship with their Self. No experience in yoga is needed. :)
Melissa Simonson, now living in New York City, is originally from Madison, WI. She hasn't held an event in this area since 2017. As a Self-Love & Relationship Coach, it is Melissa's commitment that all women transcend people-pleasing & anxiety in love, learn how to choose themselves & prioritize their own pleasure...so that they can have the life they want and relationship they deserve. A trained Spiritual Coach, masterful Astrologer (she started reading charts in Middle School!), Speaker & Singer-Songwriter, over the past 13 years Melissa has helped countless women break the cycle of heartbreak and self-sacrifice, overcome the fear of being "needy" or "too much," learn to communicate compassionately (& effectively!) & create win/win situations in all of their relating.
Heather's offerings as a teacher and coach consist of marrying the work of the body with the work of the soul. Working in while working out. Opening the body with intelligent sequencing and unique movement patterns. Recognizing the inherent intelligence in our sensations and emotions. Infusing poetry and music that stir our emotions and awaken the the soul. Aligning mind/body/soul with what's being called for in nature to find more balance in our lives. Heather has a particular interest in ritual and honoring the natural rhythms within us and around us to reconnect with our essential nature.
She received a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse in 2003. She is a 200 E-RYT yoga teacher having studied with teachers such as Tammy Zee, Manju Jois, Simon Park and Tiffany Cruikshank. Heather has completed the Level 1 Movement for Trauma training with Jane Clapp and also currently in the process of completing her VITA™ Coaching certification through Layla Martin and The Tantric Institute of Integrated Sexuality. The VITA™ method "takes the most effective teachings of modern neurobiology, holistic healing, and modern coaching, and blends them with the ancient & powerful teachings of Tantra, Taoism, and Sacred Sexuality."
